Data collected and purposes of processing

This website collects personal data only when the user provides it voluntarily — for example by filling in the contact form on the "Contact" page, or by writing directly via email or phone. In particular, the following may be processed: first and last name, email address, phone number, and the content of the message sent.

This data is processed solely to respond to requests for information or consultancy received and, should a professional engagement follow, to manage that relationship. Providing this data is optional; however, without it we cannot act on the request.

Legal basis for processing

Processing is based, depending on the case, on:

  • Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, for the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the data subject's request (responding to a contact or quote request);
  • Article 6(1)(c) GDPR, for compliance with legal obligations — for example accounting, tax or professional obligations — should the request lead to an engagement;
  • the data subject's consent (Article 6(1)(a)), where required for further, specific purposes.

Method of processing

Data is processed using IT tools and, to a limited extent, on paper, with logic strictly related to the purposes indicated above, adopting technical and organisational measures appropriate to ensure its security and confidentiality.

Data retention

Data collected through the contact form is kept for the time needed to handle the request and, if no professional engagement follows, deleted or anonymised after 24 months. Where a professional relationship is established, data is kept for the duration of the engagement and, afterwards, for the periods required by applicable civil, tax and social-security legislation (typically 10 years), unless other legal obligations apply.

Data recipients

Personal data may be made accessible, for the purposes indicated above, to the firm's staff as persons authorised to process data, as well as to third parties that provide services instrumental to the firm's activity — for example IT and hosting service providers — appointed as data processors under Article 28 GDPR where necessary. Data is never disclosed or transferred to third parties for marketing purposes.

Transfers of data outside the EU

The website is published through a cloud service that may involve processing data on servers located outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, transfers take place in compliance with the safeguards set out in Articles 44 et seq. GDPR, for example through standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Data subject rights

At any time, you may exercise, against the data controller, the rights provided for in Articles 15-22 GDPR, in particular the right to:

  • obtain confirmation of whether personal data concerning you exists and to access it (right of access, Art. 15);
  • obtain rectification of inaccurate data or the completion of incomplete data (Art. 16);
  • obtain erasure of your data, in the cases provided for by law (right to be forgotten, Art. 17);
  • obtain restriction of processing (Art. 18);
  • receive the data you provided in a structured format and, where technically feasible, have it transmitted to another controller (right to data portability, Art. 20);
  • object to processing at any time (Art. 21);
  • withdraw any consent given at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal;
  • lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it), should you believe that processing violates applicable law.

Minors

This website is not directed at persons under 18 and does not knowingly collect personal data relating to minors. Should this occur unknowingly, the data subject or their legal representative may contact the controller to have it deleted.
